1/11/2015 EMU CK SCRATCH RACE 10 RIDERS 26 K
Adam Lennon Chris Landvogt Connor Sens Connor White Ethen McMennemin Justin Leske Luke Docherty Steve Rooney Tom Castor Tom Haintz
Once again, low numbers meant a scratch race. Although Ethen tried getting away on every hill, the bunch stayed together until the Telephone Exchange Hill. Then the real attack began. Most reformed for

25/10/2015 SALEYARDS CRIT
25 MINUTES & 3 LAPS 11 RIDERS
Adam Lennon Brendan Schultz Chris Landvogt Connor White David Bakes Jared Hartley Luke Knox Ryan Evans Steve Rooney Taylor Anstee Tom Haintz
Another low turnout, but the quality of the race was high. Attacks from all trying to work into form for the track season. When the winning attack occurred, 4 stayed away until the finish...

Salesyard Crit 11/10/2015
Surprising to have any starters on Bathurst Sunday. With small numbers, 20 & 3 was decided. However, Marty begged for longer so it was changed to 25 & 3 laps. Marty & Marty only wanted longer. So how come through the race when he was out with Luke & the bunch was chasing that he kept asking the officials “ how long to go?” ? be careful what you wish for, etc..

Whipstick Classic
Only 17 brave, hearty souls would take on the perfect conditions with balmy temperature & light to no wind. Too many at Tasmania & recovery sessions from the Grand Final. At the 33k mark, limit had 3minutes in hand, with the 11’s holding 3 & a half on 2nd & scratch only 45 seconds behind them....

Emu Creek 23/08/2015
Perfect conditions with low teens, no wind & sunny. All groups left at a good pace on their tour to Sutton Grange. At the turn around, the 10’s had caught the limit riders & the gap was 5 minutes over the field. With mainly downhill to the finish, the 10’s were on fire. Scratch had caught the 5’s before the return climb of the Gooseneck. However, the 10’s were still off & riding hard. At the end,

Inglewood Classic 14/06/2015
A cold start ( as usual for this race ) but hardly any breeze to send limit away. They revelled in the conditions & gave their best from the start. The 13’s caught the 16’s at Bridgewater, & the 7’s had already caught the 9’s to make a strong chasing bunch. The 11’s were hung out to dry, not getting caught until Serpentine. All this time scratch was moving so smoothly......

Club Championships Somerset Park 31/05/2015
Lots of attacks, with Taylor & Peter Casey being prominent whenever one went away. Even though one attack gained a minute, half a lap later it was back together. But with acouple of laps left, Lappers joined Jason, Luke & Peter fo a serious break. They managed to stay away for Darren’s 1st Bendigo Club Championship.

Emu Creek Scratch Race 17/05/2015
A lap of the Gooseneck was in order for a perfect riding day. Early attacks were from Adam & Ethen who decided to break the scratch riders, with the opposite effect. Over the neck & most were still in the bunch. Things heated up climbing the Exchange hill, & the pace was red hot by the finish sprint.......

Mt Alexander Classic 10/05/2015
In what can only be described as a typical winter’s day for the Mt Alexander Classic with 27 riders daring to pin on their numbers in windy & showery conditions for the 60km trek through Emu Creek, Mandurang, Sutton Grange & then the 7km climb of Mt Alexander.....

Melville Caves Classic 26/04/2015
Once again weather affected, with monstrous southerlies to start. 30 minutes became 13 to cover the field 30k’s in. By Mt.Moliagal, 2nd had taken the race over, with scratch 3 behind. The gap stayed until Rheola, with the 2nd-3rd- all other survivors winning by a minute.

Newbridge Classic 19/04/2105
Monstrous winds all the way to Dunolly. The star studded scratch bunch was taking no notice of the wind & wound up on the line. 2nd & 3rd had the best duel, with 3rd losing 30 seconds to Dunolly. The side wind then came into play, & by the Laanecoorie turn only 5 minutes covered the field. What was left of it. The centre road crossroad was when scratch caught the last resistance.....

Emu Creek 12/04/2015
7’s & 10’s combined early, with the 4’s in hot pursuit. At halfway scratch still looked the goods. As the 4’s were closing in on the 7’s, new rider Andrew took off, still short of the Telephone Exchange. On the climb he showed his worth, staying away from the closing bunch. Once over the top he picked up the pace for an easy win & a promotion to a harder bunch.

Emu Creek 29/03/2015
The best weather for a long time; mild with hardly a sniff of breeze. The 8’s took off fast & stayed away for 20 k’s. The 5’s were on a mission, at halfway they had lost 30 seconds to scratch. Scratch just couldn’t get going until the turn. Afterwards they were on the rivet, but too little too late. Shayne had kept his bunch together & took the benefits with a fine win.
