Welcome to Surrey Park Football Club (Panthers)
Our History
2020 brings on our 26th season in our current form as Surrey Park Football Club, after being formed through the amalgamation of our two founding clubs in 1994 (Surrey Hills Football Club – established in 1887, and East Camberwell Football Club). 2019 was one of our most successful years in our history, when all 3 teams reached finals and our Men’s Reserves team won their Grand Final. We are looking forward to building on that success in 2020.
Our Teams
We field Senior and Reserve Men’s teams in The Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL), Division 4 competition and we field a Men’s U19’s team in Division 1 of the EFNL competition. For the first time in 2020 we are also excited to launch our Senior Women’s team, which will help to provide a pathway for our successful junior female players to continue their football journey at Surrey and provide opportunities for women in our broader community to get involved in footy.
Our Culture
Surrey strives to foster a 'sense of belonging' for all who engage with the Club. We are focussed on building an inclusive and successful community-based football club that concentrates on team success through encouraging personal development and achievement. We are a Club very much built on community spirit and we only continue to exist due to the dedication, enthusiasm and support of volunteers and because of the wonderful support of local businesses and sponsors.
In particular we thank our wonderful partners, Premier Partner Epworth Healthcare, and Major Sponsors, Nunawading Toyota, and The Harp of Erin Hotel, who have provided ongoing support for Surrey.
We also highly value our partnerships with the Surrey Park Junior Football Club, the Surrey Park Netball Club and the Surrey Hills Cricket Club. The club in particular has built a strong connection with the very successful Junior Football Club, with a significant number of our senior players having come through the junior ranks at SPJFC.
