Darlington Basketball Club commenced with just the one team in 2012.
Since then, the club has expanded steadily and now hosts 10 or more teams.
The club currently covers youth teams from Under 8s up to Under 18s.
Team members are from various hills and foothills suburbs and from many different primary and high schools.
Darlington Basketball Club currently participates in the Hills Raiders Basketball Association summer season from October - March each year.
Games are played at Mundaring Recreation Ground on the outdoor courts and in the new arena.
Games are played in Mundaring on Tuesday and Friday evenings and Saturday
The competition commences for U12 boys, U18 Boys on Tuesday 12th October.
The U12 Girls, U14 girls games commence on Friday 15th October.
The Aussie Hoops programme and U10, U14 boys, U16 boys begin their competition on Saturday 16th October (all during the first week of the school 4th Term).
U10s will be mixed again with U12s and up being played in separate Boys or Girls competitions.
Game nights for the various grades are confirmed when fixtures are announced by Hills Raiders at season start.
