News up to Round 10
Well, the season is well and truly underway. Pioneer Eagles have had a solid start to the season and are enjoying each week of football that they play.
Pioneers had good wins in all three grades on the week over old rivals Souths.
The under 17's had numbers on the track this week and it showed with them rolling out 18 point winners early Sunday.
Reserves also added another win to the board conviningly beating Souths with by 105 points. Wayne McCormack had a field day, kicking 12 majors in three quarters.
Souths started strongly in the seniors game, but were not able to make their mark on the scoreboard on Sunday, kicking 1 goal 7 in the first quarter. Pioneers made the most of their scoring attempts, and took a 10 goal lead into the long break. Pioneers kept their form in the final two quarters to run out eventual 54 point winners.
