Overview
Established in 1992, the Eastern Ranges Football Club (FC) provides young talented footballers with an opportunity to reach their ultimate potential in the sport of Australian Rules Football. The club itself represents the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Victoria, which encompasses the municipal areas of Yarra Ranges, Knox, Maroondah and Whitehorse.
The Eastern Ranges FC is based at Kilsyth Recreation Reserve, and currently plays in Victoria’s elite U18 football competition the TAC Cup. In 2017 The Eastern Ranges will embark on a new journey by providing young talented female footballers in the East with the same opportunities as their male counter parts as part of the inaugural Eastern Ranges Youth Girls Academy program which will run from November through to April and include both training sessions and match day program.
The club is currently seeking expressions of interest for the following roles for the academy:
- Youth Girls Academy Manager (Application Close Friday, 12th August 2016)
- Youth Girls Academy Head Coach (Application Close Friday, 26th August 2016)
- Youth Girls Academy Asst. Coach (Application Close Friday, 9th September 2016)
- Youth Girls Academy Head of Athlete Management (Application Close Friday, 9th September 2016)
Please note these are all part time voluntary positions.
