As you may know, the Tatyoon Recreation Reserve Committee, in conjunction with the Ararat Rural City Council enlisted the help of Richard Simon of Simon Leisure to create a master plan for the Tatyoon Recreation Reserve.
You can view the Master Plan (Final Draft) at Tatyoon Rural, or download the report and appendices from the PDF links below. Firefox might not download the pdf, if you have trouble, try using Chrome or IE.
The aim of the master plan is to give the community a general direction for the future. This includes guiding our maintenance and replacement of current buildings and other infrastructure, as well as beautification of the reserve and township.
The plan is only a general guide, not set in concrete. The Recreation Reserve Committee and our community will continue to review the plan over time and make any changes required.
The drawings included, again, are only a guide of what a building might look like. When/if the plan is fully endorsed, the Recreation Reserve Committee will talk more with local users and an architect to ensure any new buildings suit as many users as possible. It is at this stage we will ensure any building has everything it needs in exactly the right place.
It is intended that the master plan will guide future work in the reserve for around the next 20-25 years.
If you have any further questions, objections or would like to discuss the plan further, please contact the following before Monday 21st March 2016:
