HCCF conducts a Premiership competition involving juniors, senior men and women.

All matches commence at either 1pm or 3pm on Saturday afternoons. 

Typically 3-5 rounds are played during the 'normal' season, allowing for teams to play each other atleast 3 times. The teams that qualify, then play Semi-Finals, Qualifying Finals and finally Grand Finals.

Teams that top the table at the conclusion of the Normal Season are declared "Premiers" and those that win the Grand Final are declared "Champions".

A Club Championship operates, with clubs that enter more than one team pooling their points to enable a club points table. Using a formula, the points are averaged and a winner announced on Grand Final Day. "Minor Club Champions" is awarded to the highest scoring club with 1 or 2 teams. "Major Club Champions" is awarded to the highest scoring club with 3 or more teams.
