Uniforms and Equipment
UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT POLICY
- 1. UNIFORMS
Coast Basketball are the owners of all Coast Basketball playing uniforms.
An annual stock take of Uniforms and Equipment will be completed at the end of October.
A register will be kept noting the sizes and styles of uniforms held.
All uniforms will be stored at Storage World, David Sidwell Place, Whangaparaoa or at the address of the appointed Uniform Officer.
ISSUING OF A UNIFORM
Providing a player has paid their full annual subscription;
- A playing strip will be supplied to each member of a basketball team.
- A warm up tee will be supplied to each player providing the player has paid a levy in the Association subscription to cover the cost.
- The Association will not issue tracksuits, jackets, or hoodies/sweats.
- Any team who wishes to purchase a tracksuit, jacket or hoodie/sweat will do so at their own will through fundraising or sponsorship.
THE CRITERIA TO BE FOLLOWED FOR PURCHASE OR SUPPLY OF GARMENTS (TRACKSUITS/JACKETS/HOODIES) SHALL BE:
- A team must seek permission from Coast Basketball before approaching a business or sponsor.
- The team or appointed person(s) from within the team shall ensure that all existing sponsors are not directly affected or do not have rights to supply the garments under their agreement.
- The team or appointed person(s) from within the team shall ensure that any ordered garment meets the Associations Branding policy and is red or black in colour. The logo shall be red or white and the wording shall be in reverse colour (red or black) of the garment.
TEAM MANAGERS ARE TO ENSURE THE FOLLOWING:
- Distribute a playing uniform to each player following receipt of the annual subscription.
- Record the name of each player against the uniform number and size.
- Collect uniforms at the last match of each the season.
- Ensure that uniforms are returned in the same condition as they were issued.
- 2. EQUIPMENT
Coast Basketball are the owners of all Coast Basketball equipment (basket balls, training gear etc) unless supplied by the Coach and will be supplied to each basketball team for use at trainings and games.
Team coaches are to ensure the following:
- That equipment is collected at the end of each training session.
- That equipment is in good condition for training and game sessions.
- Ensure that all equipment is handed in at the end of the season and returned to the Associations delegated person for storage.
The Hibiscus Coast Basketball Association “Uniform and Equipment Policy” is hereby accepted and agreed.
