This is the record of the KAA medal-winners at international Athletics Meetings in the last twenty years, following the silver medal achieved by (Nan)Tara Mango at the first South Pacific Games in Suva, Fiji, in 1963. (Nantara again led the parade for the Opening Ceremony of the 2006 Inter-Island Games.)
To date, 109 international medals have been won by 39 athletes. The most successful trip has been to the Micronesia Athletics Championships (MAC) in Guam in 2007 where just six athletes achieved 13 medal placings and returned with 19 medals. The most successful men have been Buraieta (13)and Rabangaki (12). The most successful woman has been Kimaia with 11.
Medals were awarded during the first Tri-Rigger Championships against Nauru in 2007 but have not been included in this table, partly because there was only one other country involved. A record has been kept elsewhere.
