Covid-19 Tracing Returns to Willetton Stadium

WBA were advised late last week via a directive by the WA State Government and Basketball WA that as an Indoor Sporting Stadium we will be required to re-implement mandatory Covid-19 tracing protocols effective from this Saturday 5th December 2020.

As of this Saturday it will be mandatory for all stadium users aged 16 years or over to register their attendance when entering Willetton Stadium at any time by using either of the two following methods;

  • Scan QR Codes (By Downloading the WA Safe App)
  • Sign the Register Template in person

In order to scan the QR codes which will be available inside the stadium the WA State Government is strongly advising all individuals to download the new SafeWA App on your phone or tablet, this is now available via the app store or thru google play. Please refer to the attachment for details how to download and use the WA Safe App.

The stadium will have signage and QR Codes readily available and make regular PA announcements to assist stadium users to use and make it as easy as possible for all patrons to continue to access the stadium whilst following the mandatory tracing protocols in place.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
