Prize Giving honours outstanding individuals and teams

The Harbour Basketball Prizegiving, held at Eventfinda Stadium on Thursday, celebrated a plethora of individual and team successes.

Amongst the achievemsnts recognised were two National Championships, twenty-eight players representing New Zealand and the Most Improved and Most Valuable Player awards presented from all fourty-eight representative teams.

The Arami Puriri Whanuau Trust Award

Presented for Maori and Pacific Excellence, the award went to Fata Letoa 

 

Also acknowledged were all the Harbour athletes who have represented  New Zealand during 2019. 28 athletes and 5 coaching staff had the honour of representing the country this year.

Harbour fielded a remarkable 48 representative teams in 2019. Special mention was made of the U19 Women’s team and the U19 Men’s team who both claimed National Championship titles.
