Shin guards are compulsory
Shin guards are an important piece of protective equipment. Just as mouthguards or head protection is compulsory for other codes, shin guards are compulsory for Football as per BASL rules.
Shin guards should be worn under socks for maximum shin protection.
Game leaders are being asked to check players and have been instructed to not let players without shin guards from playing.

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
