We have had a number of people reach out to the club and enquire about Young Tommy Burkett who broke his leg during Sundays Senior  game. We can report that Tom had surgery Monday and had plates and screws inserted and he is now resting up in hospital and last reports enjoying his dinner. Tommy just wanted to say a BIG THANK you for all the messages he has received in the last 24 hours, The Mitcham Trainers for looking after him and the Heathmont player that showed concern when he first went down. He also wanted to say he has already watched the replay of the game and especially enjoyed the second half and can’t wait to the Tiger Train roll on this Saturday...We wish Tommy a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him hopefully this Saturday #truetiger
