First Grade & U15's 2017 Runners Up
Our First Grade ladies starded their 2017 Grand Final strong against Manly United FC skipping out to a 2-0 lead after 8 minutes. Manly then got themselves back in the game and the teams went into the sheds at half-time locked at 2-2.
The second half started the same as the first with our Rams ladies taking back the lead with a cracking long range goal from Caitlin Campbell. However the Rams ladies couldn't hold out a fast finishing Manly side with Manly taking the lead in the 88th minute and going on to win 4-3 in an entertaining game.
Our U15's went into their Grand Final as underdogs against the first placed Blacktown Spartans. After an excellent start the girls were punished for not taking their chances in front of goal and found themselves 2-0 down at half-time.
The girls put in a solid second half effort but were unable to find the back of the net with the full-time score remaining at 2-0.
A massive congratulations to all the players, managers & coaches from these two squads for an amazing season!!!
