1st Grade make it back-to-back Premierships
Rams are Premiers 2015!
Macarthur Rams have secured a successive Premiership title edging out Sydney University with 2 games left to play.
Going into last weekend’s games (Round 17), Uni needed Rams to lose to North Shore Mariners and to win themselves versus Manly. Although our Rams were defeated 1-3 away from home, Sydney couldn't capitalise on the stumble falling 1-2 in what proved to be a desperate battle versus a Manly outfit behind them now only on goal difference.
It was a bittersweet moment for Macarthur, but with two games in the season remaining; a delayed fixture versus Newcastle on Saturday followed by Sydney Uni themselves on Sunday, there is ample opportunity to stamp authority on this years Premiership win and upcoming finals.
