Dear Soccer Families

I hope you are all keeping safe and well.

There has been a lot of news and speculation over the last week about the return to school and the resumption of community sports, so I thought it was timely for an update from us.

The Football Victoria suspension of all soccer remains in place until 31 May. We are still hoping for a shortened season and are waiting on a further update from Football Victoria, which we are expecting in mid-May.

We have had some questions about reduced season fees and registration fee refunds. Please be assured we are sensitive to doing the right thing by everyone and keeping our club afloat and will be completely transparent about any decisions we make about this. Unfortunately, we can’t make any decisions (for example adjusting fees to reflect a reduced season) until we know for sure what our season will look like and negotiate with Football Victoria, who receive the bulk of registrations fees. We will notify everyone about this as soon as possible.
