KFJSC & COVID19 - ALL TEAMS TRAINING SUSPENDED
The Kensington Junior Soccer Club has made the decision to suspend all training sessions from today.
You may be aware that this is not yet the official position taken by Football Victoria, however, we feel that this is the right decision for our club and for the health and safety of our extended families and community members, particularly those we anticipate will be most vulnerable to Coronavirus.
We have taken this proactive position after consulting with several members of our club who's medical and public health advice we value and to ensure that as a community we are acting consistently with other local sports and the City of Melbourne's decision to close Kensington Recreation Centre.
We are unsure when we will resume training or when the season will commence. At this stage, we still intend to host a 2020 soccer season as soon it is safe to do so, for all the benefits it brings for our kids and our community.
In the meantime, we encourage you to keep your kids active and engaged with sport. We are working with our coaching partners T3 to bring you some virtual training that the kids can do at home to keep up their skills and keep them occupied.
