Dear KFJSC parents, kids and supporters,

COVID-19 is an ongoing health crisis that is evolving in Melbourne, Victoria and Australia.

The Kensington Flemington Junior Sports Club (KFJSC) is following the situation closely and responding to government and health department guidelines. All clubs at KFJSC (cricket, basketball, netball, soccer, football) are also monitoring and following the advice coming from their respective peak bodies (AFL etc). Please refer to a letter from the KFJSC to parents in relation to COVID-19.

At this point, we are operating games and training as normal. If there is advice as to how we are conducting these events, we will advise our coaches and parents asap.

Our clubs have introduced infection control precautions (alcohol based hand sanitizers, alcohol wipes etc) and the KFJSC is working on introducing further measures.

Within the soccer club, we are monitoring mandatory school closures and if any of our players are students of a closed school, we will make contact and ask them to self-isolate for a time period consistent with the school closure.
As always, if your child is sick, please consider the health and safety of others and give training a miss.

We understand this is a time of uncertainty for all, and if you feel the right decision for your family is to not attending training or matches for a period, please know that we support that and there will be no detriment to your child.
