Victory's Privitelli A Hit at Sumner Park

Melbourne Victory's Lia Privitelli was a hit with the junior girls at Sumner Park last Monday 19 February, sharing her experiences of being a player in the W-League and watching over the girls going through their paces at training.

Twenty-three year old Lia has been developing in her role as a midfielder striker, playing along side international players such as Natasha Dowie and Matilda, Laura Alleway.

Lia talked about overcoming injuries, her time as a junior player prior to playing in the premier league for Bulleen, what it's like to play with international level players such as Laura Alleway (Australia) and Natasha Dowie (England).

After the Q&A session Lia came down to the field and watched over players warming up and showed them a few moves.

This event was presented by Melebourne Victory FC as part of its community program.  Brunswick Zebras FC is a Club Victory member which provides us with access to opportunities to join with Melbourne Victory FC's A-League and W-League programs in promoting the game and developing our club.
