Good afternoon,

 

I hope this finds everyone safe and healthy at this time of continued uncertainty. As you are now all aware Stage 3 restrictions come into force in Regional Victoria this week meaning that Junior sport cannot continue until further notice. Although this is very disappointing for all of our families, in particular the children who have loved being back out there, I would like to take this chance to thank our committee who have been putting in a lot of work with all the Covid planning that needed to be put in place for us to be able to get back on the field. 

It is still uncertain at this stage as to what this will mean for the rest of the season and we will continue to work with and be guided by BASL, FV, FFA and the Health Organisations during this time even though there is very little on the football side that we can do.  Undoubtably BASL will have a meeting in the coming week to decide the future of the season, if it can continue or not when safe to do so.

Once we have clarity on this issue the club will look to the future in what we can provide for our players, juniors and seniors included, whether it be a form of social football over the summer months etc.

In the meantime a big thank you to all our sponsors that have come on board to support our club, please if possible support these sponsors as much as you can at this time, they need our support as much as we need theirs to get through this.

Please keep in touch with each other, as I know everyone is no doubt doing it tough, so as a football community let’s make sure we continue to support our teammates, families and friends.
