2016 DEVELOPMENT SQUAD TRIALS:
Attention to anyone attending trails this Sunday 16 October - we've had a venue change.
Trails will now be held at BSE Synthetic (Bendigo South East College - 56 Ellis Street, Flora Hill), same times.
Please pass this information on to anyone you know that may be attending.
And don't forget, if you didn't attend last Saturday and have not registered, please arrive 30 minutes earlier.
Please also ensure that no representative clothing is worn, i.e. BASL shirts, Clubs shirts, Bendigo City shirts etc.
Please assemble at the synthetic pitch, and parents are required to stand away from the trials while they are going on.

This is a call out to all players who wish to play with Bendigo’s best!
Bendigo City FC are our regions pathway club (National Premier League - NPL) and offer the highest level competition and intensive training opportunities for players wanting to take their football to the highest level.
Bendigo Amateur Soccer League (BASL) are proud to support the pathway and encourage all our players to represent our region through Bendigo City FC if they want to achieve their best.
For 2017, all players in the region are invited to attend combined trials for NPL and BASL Development Squads where trials will be conducted for both in one series of trials and with input from coaches of both Bendigo City FC and BASL Rep Squads.
So, if this sounds like you, please come along to Epsom Huntly Recreation Reserve and try out on the dates listed below.
A minimum attendance of 2 trials is expected from each player, 3 being preferable.
1st outcome - be selected by NPL/Bendigo City FC and offered a position.
2nd outcome – a squad of 20 players will be chosen for the BASL Development Squads from those remaining and/or choose not to take up the NPL offer. Development squads will train for and participate in 3 tournaments through 2017 as well as various practice matches with the NPL squad and others through the year. Package details will be provided with the offer. All development squad players will play the BASL season with their local clubs. Note: Moama based players will only be eligible in the event the Moama region does not have a squad in their age group for the 2017 Country League Championships, however they are still welcome to train.

Note that while there is no cost of attending the trial, there will be a cost for those who seek to take up either of these opportunities. If you only wish to participate in the BASL Rep squad (and not join Bendigo City FC) then attend the trials anyway and inform the trial organisers that this is your intent.
