June Newsletter

Hi any welcome everyone to the mid way point of the 2016 Season...we hope that all the kids are learning heaps and having fun...we have had a fantastic start to all our competition teams but out ZFL1 team which plays at Jesmond park is having a fantastic season and are currently undefeated...they are the top adult team at the club and we are so proud to see there sucess as they have worked so hard to get there...our U14's one competition team is also undefeated so far this season and our U15's aren't to far behind them...its looking like a great year for Jesmond Football Club

We have a few important dates coming up and I just thought I would write a Quick newsletter to let everyone whats happen and where...

Next Club Meeting:  2/6/16

This Thursday the committee meets at Heaton Bowling Club from 7:30pm to disscuss all the ins and outs of keeping the club running...we would love to see as many people as possible attend...remember many hands make light work...

Team Photo Day:  2/7/16

All junior players should have recieved their photo payment envolope from their coach if not please let me know. Please bring your envolope to the photo day with the correct money inside and your childs name and what package you are ordering must be marked clearly. These are only to be given to the photographer just before your child team photo is taken...any questions let me know

Small Sided Gala Day U6's to U9's:   21/8/16

Our small sided gala daywill be held on Sunday the 21st of August...each of our teams play 6 to 8games that are 15 minutes in time over the day...we start the first game at 9am and are all finished by 3pm...all players recieve a small trophy and certificate for coming to play at the day..we need as many of our small sided parents as we can to get invovled with helping out on the day..we will need help with the canteen, bbq, duty officers and trophy presentation...please let your coach know if you can assist in any of these areas.....registrations open Sunday 26th of June...this is a super fun day andwe hope to see everyone there...

Presentation Day:  24/9/16     6:30pm start

This year we will be holding our presentation Night at Wallsend RSL upstairs in the function room...we will be presenting all our junior players with a trophy and having a disco and lucky door prizes for the kids...ALL CHILDREN MUST BE IN THE COMPANY OF AN ADULT...last year we just had some children attend all by themselves...remember this is a licenced permises and children are not permitted unless an adult attends with them...last year was a massive success and we hope to see you all there again...

 

As you can see the next few months are very busy for the clubs and I know everyone is busy but we need to get more parents involved with helping out at the club...remember we do this for all the children to have fun and if you help out even for 5 minutes it would be amazing...

I am very proud of our little club and we are having an amazing season I would just like to thank our amazing volunteer coaches...every single one of you do an incredible job...without you giving up your time we would not have any teams or a club so thank you and to the comittee keep up the amazing job...we are only a small group but we have achieved so much...
