- Peter commenced playing junior football for the Moe City Junior Football Club. A talented junior footballer, he won club Best and Fairest awards in the Under 11’s (twice) and the Under 13’s.
- Peter went to play for Moe in the Central Gippsland Under 16’s competition.
- Peter commenced playing Under 18’s for the Moe Football Club in 1996 and won the club Best and Fairest award in 1997.
- Peter played his first senior game of football for Moe in 1998.
- Peter played in the Moe Grand Final teams in 1999 and 2000.
- Peter has won a record club 5 best and fairest awards (2004, 2005, 2007, 2011, 2012).
- Peter has represented the Gippsland League in Interleague football.
- Peter has been named as part of the Gippsland League Team of the Year on 7 occasions.
- Peter was name on the half back flank and voted as Captain of Moe Football Club Team of the decade from 2003 – 2014.
- Peter played in the Moe Reserves premiership team in 2009
- He broke the Club senior games record in 2012 with 259 games.
- Peter won the ‘Ian Jennings Family Shield’ in 2003. This is awarded for excellence on the field as well as outstanding contribution to the club off the field.
- In demonstration of his longevity and loyalty to the Club, Peter has had 9 different coaches since his first Senior appearance 18 years ago - (Lachlan Sim, Jason Shields, Ricky Dyt, Brett Szabo, Dean Caldow, Troy Makepeace, Jason McFarlane, Adrian Burgiel, James Blaser).
