The entire committee, staff, players and supporters of the Preston Bullants AFC would like to take this oppportunity to congratulate Damon Marcon on reaching the 100 Club Game milestone in the Preliminary Final clash with West Brunswick at Garvey Oval this Saturday 3rd September at 2.10pm.
An elite midfielder, wingman and dangerous forward, Damon has consistently bamboozled opposition players, shaken off multiple tags, caused numerous coaches to go bald and has torn opposition defences to shreds since his early days as a talnted junior with the Preston Bullants.
Boasting a record of 99 games with an impressive 221 goals to his name, it would be fair to say Damon is almost unstoppable. Rewarded with Big V selection in 2014 and the winner of the V.B.Zanin medal for Best on Ground in our 2014 premiership, Damon joins fellow dual premiership players Todd Beames, Lachlan McRedmond, Nick DeAndrade, Dean Calcedo, Jay Phelan and club stalwart Michael FERMA to the Big 100 club.
Damon was a critical part of our back to back premiership success, and this year is displaying the sort of form that poses a nightmare for any opponent. Blessed with blistering pace and agility, Damon is enjoying playing alongside his equally talented younger brother Andre, and both can often be found linking the footy forward in attacks on goal.
Congratulation Damon we look forward to your next 100 games with the Mighty Preston Bullants!!!
