With the support of the HSA submitting the application, the Bushrangers have requested to host the Country Cup Carnival over the Log Weekend in June.

Discussions have already started with Southern Tablelands Football Association (STFA) for season 2022.

Finals - The last round of the home/away season will be 28/29 Aug with the finals played on the 4th & 11th of Sept, with a 1 v 4 & 2 v 3 format to be played in Week 1 .

Football is back again this weekend for football in the HSA except Yerrinbool Bargo Soccer Club thanks to Covid restrictions.
We have to wait until Saturday 28/8/21 to play if covid restrictions are removed.

We were hopeful of games from 1/8/21 for Yerrinbool Bargo Soccer Club if the State Government removed restrictions. Now we need to be hopeful to get back on the paddock later in August ready for semi final football in September. Stay tuned. A further update midweek.

Cup Finals tomorrow at David Woods Oval East Bowral.
The Bushrangers have the under 15s v Robbo at 8.30am and Ist GRade v Marulan at 2pm.
The Daryl Kill Cup commenced in 1979 which was won by Picton and we had to wait until 1995 to raise it! And we have done it at least 16 more times.
Hopefully we can do it again tomorrow.

The AAM 1st grade regular season kicked off on Saturday with an away game to the newly promoted Exeter team.
The games started slowly with both sides lacking cohesion and rhythm. Jacob Leikvold led the scoring in the 1st half and his 2 goals allowed Yerrinbool to take a 4 nil lead into the half time break.

YERRINBOOL BARGO INTO DARRYL KILL CUP FINAL!! - 4 PLAYERS MAKE THEIR DEBUT
After a slow start in round 1 nothing short of 2 wins would be enough to progress to the Darryl Kill Cup final. The challenge was even greater given a number of 1st team regulars were unavailable. This forced the club to draw on its depth with 4 players being promoted to the team and making their first grade debuts.

From the 19/8/20 NSW Health have introduced more restrictions on community sports (refer attached) to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission related to participation in community sports.
They include:

No approved starting date. Juniors have been approved from 1/7 (our HSA date is 18/7), seniors should not be far behind or we "may" get the green light too. Some major leagues & Racing are pressuring gov for crowds, let alone playing. There are votes in over 18! YBSC are full steam ahead & with the comp running into late September we will leave it to the last minute to get onto field within reason

HSA meets today with FNSW.
YBSC has requested the HSA to have at least 1 full round of games plus semis. Junior comp dates to consider school hols.
The N.T. start community sports on 5/6/20 but have zero virus numbers!! Enjoy the relaxed NSW virus restriction rules from today!

2020 Season Update

The HSA is working towards a 2/5/20 start(Plan B). Our Committee will continue to keep you informed. Plans may change and likely will, but its terrific that the HSA is planning ahead, looking at future options & scheduling. They are trying to get us playing Football asap and are ready to go. Nothing else changes, still no training. Ovals & Halls in Wollondilly are closed until at least 30/4/20.

Football Federation Australia has suspended all competitions and associated training until Tuesday 14/4/20.
The Club held a Meeting last night and are well prepared for dealing with this situation. This decision( and others by gov) will affect our revenue but are mindful of giving members value for money over the year.

The HSA is kicking off the 2020 Winter Season with the 2020 Pre Season Cup. The following 2 games are scheduled to be played due to results/final positions from the 2019 season.
