You may or may not be aware that one of Caulfield's favourite sons, Scotty Oram, got his throat cut with a broken bottle on New Years Eve in an unprovoked attack, the cut ending millimetres from his jugular vein, almost causing his death, and the assailants/cowards leaving Scotty to die. Only for the speed of paramedics and the close proximity of the Hospital was he saved. Scotty was recuperating from his knee reconstruction at the time and not working, and has been hit with some massive medical bills.
We have decided to hold a benefit day to help offset these medical bills and have been able to organise a function at the Cricketers Arms Hotel,69 Cruickshank St, Port Melbourne, on Saturday, March 15th, from 12 noon to 4 pm.
