Welcome to the home of Saints Soccer Club in Cairns, affectionately known as Saints. Saints is a not for profit, community based junior soccer club located at the home of junior soccer in Cairns – Endeavour Park.. Saints is proud of its culture, built on being a “family friendly” club. We believe that junior sport should be safe, enjoyable, inclusive and maximise individual participation. We believe that positive experiences in junior competition will contribute to children delivering a lifelong love of sport.

Saints caters for boys and girls from under 6’s to under 16’s. Our Under 6 to under 11 age group participate under “Small Sided Football” rules, where we focus on enjoyment and freedom of expression. Teams are not graded on skill and coaching is delivered to ensure equal playing time for all, making new friends, and always providing a safe environment.

Saints also has a formal partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities which sees our club donate $5 per registered child to the charity as well as running an annual raffle with proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat in Palm Cove

History

Saints was founded in 1978 and is located at the home of junior soccer in Cairns, Endeavour Park in Manunda. Whilst the club has always focused on participation and fun, the club has also experienced its fair share of on field triumphs.

In recent times, the club has been victorious in the following divisions.

2005 – Under 12 Division 1

2006 – Under 12 Division 2

2009 – Under 17 Girls

2010 – Under 17 Division 1

2011 – Under 13 Division 2

2012 – Under 12 Division 2 grand finalist and Under 13/14 Division white grand finalist and minor premiers

2013 – Under 16 Division 2 Premiers Saints Red and runners up and minor premiers Saints Blue

2014 – Under 14 Division 2 Premiers Saints Red and Under 16 Sat Comp Grand finalist and Minor Premiers
