Truganina South Basketball Club is a domestic basketball club participating in Wyndham Basketball Association leagues.
The Truganina South Basketball Club was formed in 2012 by a group of parents who wanted their children to have fun in an enviroment that was close to home.
We firmly believe that sports generally, and basketball specifically, will enhance the lives of our children through an appreciation for the value of exercise, the camaraderie of being part of a team and the joy of play.
The club currently has boys and girls teams particpating in junior competitions ranging from the under 10 to under 18 age groups.
Participation within the club will contribute to the development of character, individual and team skills, a sense of fair play, the will to work hard, teamwork, sportmanship and recogition of the reward of hard work. These are all attributes that will serve our children well both on and off the court.
The Truganina Basketball Club is committed to providing a platform where parents and children can interact together in a fun enviroment. We are dedicated to providing our members with a club that encourages participation of both parents and players alike. Parents are encouraged to help out withi the club: joining the committee, coaching, fundrasing, sponsorship, scoring at games, etc. The more active parents' involvement is, the more dedicated the player will become.
The club strives to build a solid foundation that leads to a lifetime of participation in sports and the community at the base level.
