SMS NOTIFICATION SERVICE FOR COUNCIL SPORTS GROUNDS

 

The BounceBack SMS service works using your mobile phone to send the name of the sportsground as a text message to 1992 2767. You will immediately receive a response stating if the ground is open on that day for play or training.

Send an SMS to BounceBack SMS costs a flat fee of 55 cents.

NEW FIELD AVAILABILITY SERVICE

After the success of the Bounce Back SMS service in 2009, an ADDITIONAL MOBILE FOCUSED WEB SERVICE will be available to users this winter season. Get the latest info on availability of ALL fields straight from your internet capable smart phone or even your desktop PC - no SMS or keyword required. The information is exactly the same as that retrieved by SMS, but going tohttp://www.myanswers.mobi/bankstown will now show a full list of sporting fields in Bankstown. Simply click on the field of interest to find out its availability. It is quick, easy and provides information on ALL sporting fields in the Bankstown at the one web address.

Save the web address to your favourites or iphone 'home screen' this season to stay up-to-date.

Please be advised that this mobile web access is an extension of the Bankstown Bounce Back SMS service and Council's Field Availability Service to cater for all users and all access methods.

During the Field Availability Line (1300 655 180) will be continue to be updated (if required) twice a day by 9.00am and 2.00pm.

On weekends the line will be updated daily (if required) by 8.00am.

Please note that fields closed due to maintenance work will also be updated on these services
