Finally we are here Devils! The constitution has been updated. Yeah, totally boring I know - and it was a rather dull meeting.
But what does it mean!? It means that finally the netballers have an official place in our governing document. The cricketers become a recognised organisation that will forever tie us to each other. It means that some of the areas that had us tied over a barrel were freed up to be more reasonable in this day and age.
Alas, though, for not all victory comes without bloodshed. For the first time in uncountable years (21) we will no longer have a seamstress for our club. So every time our footballers get their guernsey torn... guess who will fix it? No one! I am looking at you Timmy Corneliusen! But, realistically... we can put this aside now and focus on things that are actually important. And what is that? Just making our club a damn well great place! Parties galore, for us Devils define party. Time to get around it guys.
What's coming up? We have solar going up... hopefully by the end of the year - just awaiting a power assessment. We have started plans for fundraising for a playground for the club. As many of our party animal members form small families - this one will be crucial to keep them out there having great times with us. And what then? Let's build a bloody netball court, because - why not?
Oh, and Jag the Joker has a jackpot of $2800 at the moment... get out there before it goes off!
