Working with Children

Every season All volunteers and those involved with the club MUST complete a 'working with children check',

The application form can be found HERE, pls complete print and return with a copy of your drivers licence to the clubs MPIO officer or place in the Secretary's pigeon hole at the ground

Insurance Policy

Cover under the Accident Support Program extends to include registered players, volunteers, officials, committee members, coaches, trainers and referees whilst involved in Football NSW activities. For more details, policy documents and claim forms, please refer to the Football NSW Insurance link.

To make a sports injury claim, please download and complete the Sports Injury Claim Form, forward this to the Club Secretary for sign-off and forwarding to the insurer.

Wet Weather Policy

The Cobras have a Wet Weather Policy which is to be followed during periods of wet weather. This includes details on the number to call to check on Cobra's ground closures:

Football NSW also has a lightning policy which is to be followed when there is any lightning in the area. This policy adopts the 30-30 rule where training and games are to be stopped when thunder from lightning is heard within 30 seconds of the strike, and training and games are not to resume until 30 minutes after the last thunder is heard within 30 seconds.

Hot Weather Policy

In accordance with duty of care and reference to the SMA Policy & Guidelines, Football NSW recommends that:

Games or training involving Adults should be postponed or cancelled at 37°

Games or training involving Children should be postponed or cancelled at 32°
