The Bundaberg Celtics Basketball Association Inc. have identified the following players as Superstars.
What these players have in common is they have graduated from our Future Superstars League and posess a tremendous amount of heart and character.
These players are the building blocks of our club and we look forward to watching their skills and abilities progress over the next 7 years.

I started playing basketball in 2007 every saturday at the Future Superstars League.Then I was selected to join the U12 Bundaberg Bears REP. Team.
Later in the year i tried out for the school zone team and made it. We travelled to Gympie for Wide Bay trials and i was selected for teh Wide Bay team.
I now play U14 rep and U14 and U16 club basketball on friday nights and am starting the Superstar Academy in February.Why did you decide to play basketball;
Because it was really fun to play at the Future Superstars League.What you love about the Future Superstars League;
We play basketball games and learn new skills
Aspirations or goals for basketball;To be rep. captain make the Qld. team and win MVP.

Playing History;
- I started playing basketball at Bargara State School at a lunch time competition then i received MVP for the school competition.
- I started going to the Future Superstars League where i learned more about the game.
- Then i joined club and developed my skills even more and got picked for the under 12's Bundaberg Bears Representative team.
- Later on in the year i tried out for the zone school sports team for basketball and got chosen-we travelled to Gympie to play our games. While i was in Gympie i was selected for the Wide Bay school sports team and we travelled to Gladstone where i learned even more skills.
- Now i am playing under 14's Bundaberg Bears Rep. Team. I have also helped out at the Future Superstars League for a couple of weeks this year.
- Over the holidays i have been going to the holiday program at the YMCA.
Why did you decide to play basketball; Cause i enjoyed it and because of a school competition
What you love about the Future Superstars League; it helped me develop my skills and taught me more about the game .
Aspirations or goals for basketball; to make Queensland side.
Favourite subject at school; P.E, math's, music and science.
Academic Achievements;
2009 Bargara State Primary School Captain, best all rounder, distinction and participation in math's competition, credit in English competition, A's in everything except for music ( B ) on my report card.
Tell us about your family; I live with my: dad, mum and big brother in Innes Park North. All of them are very supportive and loving.
What you want to do when you grow up; I want to play basketball for Australia

playing history i started playin basketball thanks to a friend on
friday nights. in my first season i was named mvp and my team won the
chamionship
then i played another season where my team won the champioship again
arfter that i got selected for the under 12s bulls team
then got selected for the skoolboys under 14s team. went to widebay trails but only made p&ps
i now play in the under 14s bulls team, in the superstar academy and captain my friday night team the hawks.
why did u decide to play basketball because i was over rugby league and
wanted to play a sport so a friend got me into basketball.
what do u love about the future superstar league mainly because of its great coachs (pags)

Playing History;
- Began skills sessions at Bundaberg late 2006
- 2007 under 12 girls Bundaberg
- 2007 Future Superstars League
2008 under 12 girls Hoopstars (club) and under 12 girls Southern Districts Titans (rep). Came 1st in B.Q.J.B.C. div 2 finals, 3rd in div 2 Classics
At rep level, she captained her div 1 rep
team, the Southern Districts Spartans. They won the gold medal in the BQJBC Premier League grand final, silver medal at the div 1 State Classics, and came 8th at the VJBL National Classics in Melbourne.
At school level, she made and was co-captain of the Met-East U13 girls basketball team.
On a personal note, she won the Spartans
U12's girls div 1 MVP. She also won the 'Ma Barker' award, which is
awarded to the most promising U12 junior from Southern Districts.
Why did you decide to play basketball;
I was doing gymnastics, but wanted to try something new. Also, my dad played and I liked it.
What do you love about the Future Superstars League;
Playing with lots of other kids and meeting new people. Also being on Seven news!
Aspirations or goals for basketball;
Try and make the Met-East team in 2009, make the QLD state team 2010.
Favourite subject at school; English (especially spelling)

They are the best in the world (couldn't get any better)! I live with my mum and dad, as well as my little brother Noah.What do you want to do when you grow up;
