The Celtics entered a float in the 2009 Bundy in Bloom Parade and had a great time.

There were literally thousands of people lining the streets of Bundaberg to witness all the colour and beauty of the springtime floral display.

Celtics event co-ordinator Blanche Alexander and her crew of mostly Celtic Junior basketballers set up the float which consisted of 9 locally grown native plants.

"Using natural plants (thoo) brought out the positve nature of the Celtics and what we are trying to achieve." Blanche said.

All the participants had a great time including 47 year old veteran and basketball legend Aaron Wade who said simply, "it was unreal"

The celtics were also lucky enough to be invited to perform our club song and wish to thank Randal Ing for performing Vae Victus.

The Celtics also added variety to the day with our stall and served up a traditional Mayan Iced coffee with chilli and lime flavour.
