The Hurstbridge Hurricanes Basketball Club was formed 24 years ago, during which time it has provided the opportunity for both children and adults from the local area to partake in a healthy, family orientated activity.

Our junior teams are made up of Under 8s, 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s and 20s.

All teams play in the Diamond Valley Basketball Association (DVBA) competition of which there are 2 seasons per year. A season usually consists of 16 rounds plus finals. All games are played at various stadiums in the Diamond Valley region and the junior teams have a training session once a week at the Hurstbridge stadium in Graysharps Road.

Each team will have a coach, usually a parent, but sometimes an older player. All coaches 18 or over will have their "Working with Children" accreditation, as per Club's policy. All coaches are volunteers and have the full support of the Club. It is important that all parents also support their child's coach by helping out with scoring and general child supervision.
