It has been bought to the Committee's attention, that at the Doncaster East game (Saturday June 10th) a Lilydale supporter made inappropriate comments towards the umpires and opposition players. This is not acceptable and will not be tolerated by the club.
The club apprciates the encouragement given to our players and coaches during a game and the passion that surrounds Australian Rules Football. With this in mind please take note of the following -
Spectators should - Respect the decisions of officials and teach young people to do the same.
Never ridicule or condemn a player for making a mistake.
Show respect for your team's opponents and umpires. Without them, there would be no game.
Encourage players to follow rules and officials decisions.
Not use foul language, or harass players, officials or coaches.
