Ralph came to the club in 2005 when his eldest son Tim started playing Auskick, he has had an unbroken connection with the club since that time. From the very first season at the club Ralph was one of those parents that just mucked in and helped out around the team and club. Most often without being asking and mainly just because he saw a job that needed to be done.
Since that time Ralph has been a constant around the club, coaching Tim and Travis's teams, performing the role of Junior Coordinator, Ground Manager, gear steward and Committee member. You name a roll and Ralph has done it, either by volunteering or just because there was a need for someone to do it. With his boys being at both ends of the junior football age groups Ralph's Sunday's start early and end late as he performed the ground manager role all day. Ralph is one of the most respect ground managers in the Junior League due to his fair and consistent approach to the role.
It must be noted that Ralph not only work's full time for Pirtek but has run an archery business from home for many years. So the vast number of hours he has put into the footy club have been to the financial disadvantage of his business, which he is currently trying to expand having taken a lease on a new shop at North Wyong.
On a number of occasions Ralph has purchased extra equipment that was needed for the younger grades our of his own pocket. Be it extra footballs, drink bottles or what ever, gear just turned up in the back of Ralph's ute and was used by the kids.
Congratulations Ralph, well done and well deserved.
