Brisbane Lions CEO Greg Swann will be a guest speaker at the Roos Corporate sponsors day this Saturday while the team takes on reigning premiers Mayne.
In a match-of-the-round clash, the second placed Roos take on ladder leaders Mayne who have suffered just one loss in the past two seasons. And that loss came at the hands of the Roos earlier this season in a nailbiter at Everton Park.
Besides the loss to the Roos, Mayne's form this season has been spectacular and consistent, comfortably sweeping aside any time that stood in their way.
In contrast, it's hard to tell which Roos outfit will turn up to play. The Roos have been sensational in some games - with a couple of 200 point wins on top of the Mayne victory - however lost momentum with some poor results including a loss to an understrength Noosa in Round 9 and a 5 point loss to Caloundra in round 11 when the Roos had won the previous clash by 114 in round 4.
Seniors (2pm), Reserves (11.45am) and Colts (9.30am) will each play Mayne at Fisherman's Rd on Saturday while the 3rds take on Bribie at Bribie at 2pm Saturday.
