Hi all,
Our own Senior Footballer, Jason Williams, is needing assistance to fund a three month Social Science Internship to help vulnerable children at a Save the Children centre in Mexico.
Not only will Jason's time in Mexico help to provide at-risk children with a safe environment away from the drugs, abuse and neglect they are exposed to in the region, the experience and knowledge he will gain from his involvement in this program will enhance his skills for the work he does with Indigenous young people and communities on his return back home.
Attached is Jason's story, providing information on what he does, and what he is hoping to achieve with his Internship in Mexico.
Jason will commence his three month Internship in December this year, so is needing to work quickly to raise the funds required to see him on his way.
With the support of our Club, he is putting out the call to all our members and their contacts for any assistance they may be able to provide. If not directly financial, the assistance may be by putting Jason on to people or organisations that can help in some way.
Small donations from individuals, sponsorship funds from businesses, or grants from other sources are all options that Jason would truly appreciate and be happy to explore further.
If you are able to provide any help or information to Jason, please contact him directly:
Jason Williams
Good luck Jason, we wish you well !
