City Drop Points After Pride Comeback

Western Pride

Western Pride came storming back in the second half to deny Brisbane City a home win, as the two sides eventually settled for a 2-2 draw at Corporate Travel Management Stadium.

City were cruising at half time, having scored off two Sam Sibatuara free kicks taken from almost identical positions.

A forceful half time speech from coach Graham Harvey sparked a Pride comeback, as the visitors also scored two goals via deliveries from the right.

Hayden McHenery's marvellous flicked header evened terms with ten minutes remaining but neither side could snatch a late winner.

City stay put next weekend as Brisbane Roar Youth visit Newmarket, while Pride are on the road again, this time at Moreton Bay United.
