Roar and Redlands Evenly Matched

In a very close game with a few near misses Brisbane Roar Youth and Redlands United have drawn at (2-2) on Sunday afternoon at AJ Kelly Park. 

Despite a couple of missed chances, Young Roar played a strong first half with Captain Adam Sawyer taking a penalty and Rahmat Akbari securing a second goal lead.

The tables turned in the second half as Redlands broke back determined to not end the last round at a loss.

Veteran Graham Fyfe gave Redlands a foothold back into the game and then teammate Feli Sheriff took a powerful shot that took home the equaliser.

Both teams have played well this season with Redlands finishing ninth on the ladder and Young Roar not far behind in eleventh position.
