UQFC Women have won three games on the trot after defeating Western Pride Women 3-0 away from home at Briggs Road Sporting Complex.

Despite an early chance nearly going Pride’s way, the first half belonged to UQFC’s Georgia Chapman who scored a double within 23 minutes of play, which her side defended until halftime.

A goalmouth scramble within the dying stages of the game saw UQFC add their third goal, which brings their goal difference to a solid + 19.

UQFC will travel to Heath Park next Saturday night to take on Eastern Suburbs in a clash for fourth spot on the ladder, while Pride will hope to better their luck against The Gap.
