The Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 will see PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues clubs traverse the country in pursuit of ‘The Magic Of The Cup’.

The fixtures for the first national stage of the popular knock-out competition were drawn today LIVE at Fox Sports Studios in Sydney and broadcast on Fox Sports News Channel 500.

PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues clubs FNQ Heat and Redlands United both drew hosting rights against interstate opponents, while Brisbane Strikers will travel interstate for the third straight year.

Redlands have been pitted against defending Hyundai A-League Champions Adelaide United in a blockbuster 'David-v-Goliath' showdown that marks the Red Devils first ever appearance on the national stage in any competition.

Adelaide United won the Westfield FFA Cup in its inaugural 2014 season and the match will mark their first ever visit to Queensland in the competition.

The state’s north are primed to host a Westfield FFA Cup tie for the first time after Heat were finally dealt a home tie - drawing PlayStation 4 NPL Northern New South Wales outfit Edgeworth Eagles.

Eagles travelled to Queensland late last year to face PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland 2015 Champions Moreton Bay United in the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Finals Series – a match they lost 3-1.

In another first, Strikers were drawn against the competition's last remaining Northern Territory club, Rovers Darwin - who compete in Football Federation Northern Territory's Norzone Premier Men's competition.

The match will mark the first time former National Soccer League club Strikers has ventured to the country's 'Top End' for a competitive match.

Strikers and Heat, who will both make their third straight appearance in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32, are out to improve on exits at the Round of 32 stage in last year’s tournament.

While Redlands are participating in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 for the first time in 2016.

Fellow Queensland-based clubs Surfers Paradise Apollo and Brisbane Roar also discovered their upcoming Westfield FFA Cup opponents during the draw.

Apollo, who compete in the third tier BLK Premier League competition and are making their debut in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32, drew a tricky away tie to PlayStation 4 NPL Capital club Canberra Olympic.

While Roar will host Hyundai A-League rivals Perth Glory – the tie marking the second straight year Glory have travelled to Brisbane in the Westfield FFA Cup.

Match dates and venues for the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 will be confirmed by Football Federation Australia at a later date.
