2014 PS4 NPL Queensland Awards

Football Queensland is pleased to announce the winners of the 2014 PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Queensland Awards.

The awards are presented in five categories – Most Valuable Player, Young Player of the Year, Golden Boot,
Safe Hands Award and Media Manager of the Year.

PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Premiers and Grand Final winners Palm Beach Sharks won the most awards
with striker Chris Lucas (Most Valuable Player) and goalkeeper Shane Viitakangas (Safe Hands Award) both
picking up honours.

Northern Fury’s Braedyn Crowley, who recently signed for Hyundai A‐League club Newcastle Jets in the
Foxtel National Youth League, was recognised with the Young Player of the Year award.

Moreton Bay United veteran Royce Brownlie received the Golden Boot award for his 34 goals in the
PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland regular season.

Football Queensland Chief Executive Officer Geoff Foster said, “The 2014 NPL Queensland award winners are
from clubs in Townsville, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.”

“This is a reflection of a truly competitive state‐wide league and demonstrates the wide spread of football
talent across Queensland.”

“On behalf of Football Queensland I congratulate all the winners on their outstanding individual seasons,”
Foster concluded.

Moreton Bay United FC Media Manager Nick Crockford is also recognised as the inaugural Club Media
Manager of the Year.

This award recognises his outstanding work in servicing all forms of media in an efficient and professional
manner to promote his club and the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Queensland in 2014.
