Strikers Move Top After Nine-Minute Blitz

Brisbane Strikers have moved top of the table after a 4-1 win over Brisbane Roar Youth at Perry Park.
Daniel Leck gave the Roar a shock lead midway through the first half but Strikers were level within 10 minutes and never looked back.
A three-goal blitz in nine second-half minutes saw the home side run away with the game, grabbing three absolutely vital points.
Strikers haven't led the league at all this season, but Sean Lane's team has timed their run to perfection, overtaking Gold Coast City with one game to spare.
Strikers are level with GCC on 48 points, but sit nine goals clear in goal difference.
A win over Brisbane Olympic at Goodwin Park next Sunday would see Strikers become the first ever team to win back-to-back PS4 NPL QLD Premierships.
