Western Pride have been recognised with three nominations for this year’s Ipswich Sports Awards – including Sporting Organisation of the Year.
The award winners will be announced at the awards night on November 18, with Pride General Manager Pat Boyle nominated as Volunteer of the Year and coach Graham Harvey in the running for Coach of the Year.
Winners receive prizes up to the value of $2,000 at an annual awards ceremony.
A statement on Pride’s Facebook account said, “Regardless of who wins, these awards showcases (sic) the wonderful support in Ipswich for our sports teams and the dedication of our sportspeople.
“This in turns (sic) encourages Ipswich kids to get out and active.”
Pride sponsor Centenary Glass & Mirror is also nominated in the category of Corporate Sponsor of the Year.
