Preliminary Round 7

City host league rivals Redlands just four days after a frenetic Friday night clash at the Cleveland Showgrounds where they ran out surprise 2-1 winners to end a six match winning streak for the Red Devils in all competitions.

That result also extended City's recent run of form to five matches without defeat, however Redlands were unlucky not to save a point after repeated attacking raids were foiled by an outstanding performance from City goalkeeper Timothy Allen.

He will have to be on guard again with goals at a premium in the do-or-die cup setting and with both clubs eyeing their first ever advance to the national Round of 32.

With everything on the line, the cup tie could potentially prove fiery with plenty of unfinished business following nine bookings in Friday's clash - a factor that could work against the hosts who have already seen red three times this year.

This match marks the first time the sides have faced a fellow second tier club in the preliminary rounds, with Redlands dispatching Pine Rivers United and City outmuscling Mitchelton FC in Preliminary Round 5.

The winner of this match will play the winner of Rochedale Rovers and Moreton Bay United for a place in the Round of 32.

Preliminary Round 6

Rovers welcome the reigning PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland champions to Logan, as both sides chase their best ever return in the Westfield FFA Cup.

Inconsistency has plagued both sides this season with both sitting mid-table in their respective league competitions.

Jets have proved out of sorts following a bright start to their league title defence - with their Preliminary Round 6 win against Capalaba FC one of only two in six starts in all competitions since the start of April.

Conversely, Rovers made a slow start to their campaign but were on an upsurge with a four match unbeaten run in the Flight Centre Premier League before a last start defeat to Holland Park Hawks.

However, their Westfield FFA Cup form has been near faultless with commanding wins over Bayside United, Grange Thistle and Ipswich Knights - with attacking threat Jose Mojica-Rodriguez netting four of his side's 12 goals.

Key to the battle will be Jets regaining their once notorious defensive fortitude with just a single clean sheet to their credit so far in 2016.

The winner of this match will play the winner of Brisbane City and Redlands United for a place in the Round of 32.

Round of 32

Westfield FFA Cup specialists Strikers are out to avoid a potential banana-skin when they head south of the river to face fourth-tier Southside Eagles.

Formed in 1968, Eagles are enjoying their deepest run into the Westfield FFA Cup and have already claimed the lower tier scalps of Slacks Creek SC, Jimboomba United, Pine Hills FC and Acacia Ridge SC.

However, Strikers will pose their greatest challenge yet - with the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues outfit tasting defeat just twice this season and boasting a remarkable seven clean sheets in their past eight matches in all competitions.

Intriguingly, both sides boast goal-a-game sharp-shooters in their respective league competitions - Strikers' Rhys Meredith with nine goals to his credit, while Eagles' Joshua Falco boasts 11.

The winner of this match will contest the winner of the fixture between Moggill FC and Lions FC for a place in the Round of 32.
