Oneran Re-signs with the Wolves

The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of combo guard Nedim Oneran for the 2022 NBL1 West season.

This will be Ned’s second year playing for the NBL1 Men’s team. Ned is a versatile guard who is crafty from the perimeter. His shooting strength, ball skills, and quickness allow him to present himself as a perimeter threat and easily decide to attack the rim with confidence. Coach David Morrell shared his thoughts on what Wolfpack fans can look forward to seeing from Ned this season:

“Ned is a player who’s had multiple years training in the senior program already despite being very young. He is a strong bodied guard, can shoot it, and has a burst to him. He is going to continue to expand his skills and his consistent impact on the game this year, and I’m excited about his potential. Ned is coachable, competitive, and an ideal fit to our program culture. He’s a player we are proud to add to our squad for 2022-23.”

When asked about his signing with the Wolves, Nedim said,

“Signing with the Wolfpack means a whole lot to me. It took a lot of hard work and dedication to have the privilege of doing so. That being said I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support of those around me at the club. The culture that’s been created at the club by the players, coaching staff, managers, physios, and everyone in between is incredibly welcoming and just fun to be around.

I’ve been training with the NBL1 squad for probably the last 3 years now and this is now my second year getting contracted. I’m super excited for the season ahead to see what we can accomplish as a team.”
