WBA Welcomes New Directors

Club President Ryan Hunter would like to announce and cordially welcome two new Board Directors, Bev Errington and Peter Mullins, to the Wanneroo Basketball Association, filling the two casual vacancies available following the 2018 AGM.

Both Bev and Peter were recently endorsed by the WBA Board to commence their Board roles effective immediate, bringing vast experience and important skill-sets and passion for the game to the Wolves Board table.

 

Bev Errington 
Bev will perform the role of WBA Secretary.

Bev's current roles and achievements include;

  • Chairperson
    Kingsway Community Financial Services (Bendigo Bank)

  • Treasurer
    Wanneroo Agricultural Society

  • 2018 City of Wanneroo Mayor’s visionary person of the year award

Bev is a long-term Wolfpack supporter, and SBL season Member.

Bev's skills and experience relate to strategic planning, financial management and business planning and performance. 

 

Peter Mullins
Peter will perform the role of General Director, with a focus on leading and assisting Member Protection investigations and tribunal hearings.

Peter's current roles and achievements include;

  • 14 year career as a Local Government Officer; with a focus upon statutory inspection & enforcement responsibility

  • Diploma in Business
    Cert IV in Government (Investigations)

  • Current Board Member
    Metropolitan Football League (MFL)

 

Peter is extensively involved in Basketball at Wanneroo, as a Wolves parent, WABL Coach, Domestic Coach and SBL scoretable official. Peter's diversity of roles and interactions at WBA make him an important representative of the broader membership at the Board table.

Peter's niche, highly-regarded skill base incorporates management of the collection and assessment of evidence, issuing of infringements, writing reports and recommendations on prosecutions, and attendance at Court or State Administrative Tribunals as required.
