NEWS: Week 9 Northern Hub MiniRoos' resumes on Sunday after 3 week break
THE Aldi MiniRoos Northern Hub will resume this weekend, following a three week mid season break due to the school holidays. While the Southern Hub came back last Sunday, the Northern Hub will resume this coming Sunday at the Lara Recreation Reserve, the home of the Lara United FC, for Week 9 of the 2018 season.
Breakwater Eagles and Barwon Heads SC will split the hosting of the Southern Hub round of matches on Sunday, while in the Northern Hub, Lara United FC will be hosting teams from right across Geelong's northern suburbs for the second time this year after it successfully ran Week 8 of the ALDI MiniRoos season almost a month ago.
Geelong's northern most club will be providing a full canteen facility, as is the case each week at all hosting venues.
The fixtures for Week 9 have been announced for the MiniRoos Hub which comprises all the U7s, U9s and U11s age group competitions, split between the Joeys (beginners) and Kangas (advanced) sub-leagues.
The U7s play in a 4v4 (players) format on 1/8 the size of a full pitch, the U9s play 7v7, while the U11s play 9v9 on half ground sized pitches.
