NEWS: Relive the Geelong Region Grand Final Day 2017 with full video highlights
RELIVE all the jubilation for the winners and despair for the losers of Grand Final Day 2017, as captured and edited by local sports filmmaker Joe Allen who was on hand to record all the excitement of the Women’s and Men’s Division 1 season deciders at Stead Park on the 23/24th of September.
Deakin Ducks defeated Barwon SC 3-0 in the Women’s game on the Saturday, while Barwon defeated Geelong Rangers following a thrilling 4-2 penalty shootout win after scores were locked 1-1 after extra time in the Men’s showdown on the Sunday.
A massive acknowledgement to Joe who compiled the following five videos voluntarily, using his own equipement and investing a huge amount of his own time in both recording the action live and editing the raw material post-match.
